In the poll the Colombian singer Shakira, and the Puerto Rican actress, singer, and entrepreneur Jennifer López were chosen by VL readers as the most influential Latinas in the U.S., beating out 18 other well known musicians, entrepreneurs, writers, journalists and politicians.
